What You’ll Need to Make Red Wine Brownies
Making Red Wine Brownies By Hand
You don’t need a fancy hand or stand mixer in order to make these red wine brownies. In fact, they’re so easy that I actually recommend you make them by hand.
Ingredients for Red Wine Brownies
- Unsalted Butter
- Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- Granulated Sugar
- Brown Sugar
- Eggs
- Kosher Salt
- Red Wine
- All-Purpose Flour
- Cocoa Powder
What wine should you use?
This recipe only uses a half cup of red wine, so I recommend using a wine that you like to drink. This way, no wine goes to waste. I’ve tried making these with a red wine blend (because I’m a wimp when it comes to red wine) and loved them.
Making them by hand means you really should set a timer when you’re whisking your eggs, salt, and sugars. By whisking these ingredients for a full minute and a half, you’re whipping air into the mixture. This is how you get those sought-after brownie flakes on top.
