Light and refreshing cold brew tea with a smooth taste thanks to its long steep time in the fridge. Made with bagged black and mint teas, sweetened to your liking, and has a refreshing mint after-taste. Perfect for a summer day!

Ingredients

Scale

6 cups Cold Water

5 bags English Breakfast Black Tea

4 bags Mint Tea

23 Tablespoons Granulated Sugar – feel free to omit or adjust the amount for your preference

Instructions

  1. Add the black tea (5 bags), and mint tea (4 bags) to a pitcher. Cover the bags with cold water (6 cups).
  2. Cover the pitcher and store it in the fridge to steep for 8-10 hours. Set a reminder on your phone so that you won’t forget when it’s ready!
  3. When it’s done steeping, remove from the fridge and fish out the bags from the pitcher using a slotted spoon.
  4. Add the granulated sugar (2-3 Tablespoons, or to your liking) and stir until the sugar dissolves.
  5. Serve over ice and enjoy!

Cold-brewed tea is best enjoyed the day it’s done steeping, but it should keep in the fridge for a couple days if you don’t finish it in a day.
